Crescent

The Legacy of Crescent

Founded in 1902 by Charles T. Ozmun as the Chicago Matboard Company, Crescent began by hand-mounting theatre posters. As the demand for art boards grew across industries, the company expanded, and in the 1950s, it adopted the name Crescent, inspired by the crescent-shaped cuts used for colored mat board samples.

Today, Crescent is a trusted name in the framing, commercial art, fine art, and photography markets. Known for its innovation and strict quality standards, Crescent products are in demand worldwide.
